“Writing Bonnie & Clyde was such an important moment for me. It tells the story of true love, what it means to stick by your person with whatever life throughs at you. But I also wanted it to serve as a reminder that moments aren’t permanent. That on your darkest days, there will be light. When I wrote the line ‘We forget that the sweet taste of honey, comes from places that sting’, I wanted it to reach the people who find and listen to my music and be a sense of comfort to know that something good can always come from something bad. Something I’m very familiar with.” - Allie
